These terms apply to the use of Hoopit™ and all associated pages, as well as mobile applications and any other platforms Club United chooses to use for its services.
Use of Hoopit™ requires that you accept these terms. You accept the terms by creating a user profile, or otherwise using Club United’s services.
These terms will be updated from time to time without separate notice being given. The version of the terms in force at any given time can be found at www.hoopit.io/en/terms/terms-of-use/
Hoopit™ is a digital platform that helps sports clubs organise activities and exchange information with members and parents or guardians, thereby saving time and money and helping to increase revenue.
To use Hoopit™, you must meet the following conditions:
a) You are 15 years of age or older
b) You agree that it is your responsibility to keep the password to your account secret, and to check that your own account is not misused in any way.
c) You understand that your account is personal, and cannot be used by anyone else, not even with your verbal or written permission.
For parents or guardians who create user access for minors under 15, the parent or guardian warrants that they have the lawful ability to give consent on behalf of the minor, i.e. that they hold parental responsibility and/or the necessary consent from whoever holds parental responsibility for that user.
Each user may only create one personal account. The user is themselves responsible for the security of their account, for example ensuring that the password does not fall into the wrong hands and that no one else is given access to the account. Club United is not responsible for loss or inconvenience resulting from misuse of your account.
If you provide incorrect information during the registration process or later, Club United reserves the right to close the account and, where applicable, claim compensation for financial loss or costs incurred as a result of this.
We respect your right to privacy. How we process personal data when you use Hoopit™, who is responsible, and what rights you have, is set out in the privacy notice for the Hoopit app.
We process information about you to deliver, secure and further develop the service, as described in the privacy notice. The processing is not based on a consent you give by creating a user, and consent is never a condition for using the service.
We do not sell personal data to third parties, we do not use personal data from the service for marketing, and we do not pass it on to advertisers.
Our website uses cookies. A cookie is data stored in your browser, so that the website recognises you from page to page and from visit to visit.
Only strictly necessary cookies are set without consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you give consent in the consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and it is just as easy to decline as to consent.
Which cookies we use, how long they are stored and which third parties receive information, is set out in the privacy notice for the website.
The following rules apply to the use of our services:
All text, images and other media available in Hoopit™ may be protected by copyright held by their respective rights holders, and may not be used under any circumstances without written permission unless expressly stated otherwise.
It is not permitted to monitor, copy or collect information from our platforms using a ”spider”, ”robot” or ”scraper”, whether automatically or manually, without written permission.
It is not permitted to attempt to ”hack” or test the security or configuration of any of our platforms. Attempting, or actually gaining, access to data not intended for end users is not permitted, whether as a result of your own actions or as a result of events beyond our control. Users who find that they have access to such information that they should not have access to are obliged to notify our support department of this.
You accept that there may be disruptions to the platform’s functionality that cause all or part of our service to be unavailable for periods. You further accept that this may be the result of events both within and beyond our control, including but not limited to updates or technical maintenance.
All our platforms may contain links to other websites that are not owned by Club United. We are not responsible for the content of these sites or their use.
All content on Club United’s websites and apps, etc., including Hoopit™, is the property of Club United and is protected under, among other things, copyright, marketing and trademark legislation. This means that trademarks, company names, product names, texts, source code, images/graphics, design and layout and other content on the website and/or app may not under any circumstances be copied or otherwise used unless this is explicitly permitted under mandatory law or by express prior written consent from Club United.
You may not resell Hoopit™ or otherwise exploit it for purposes other than those set out in these general terms without written consent from Club United.
Club United allows its users to share, comment, ask questions or otherwise communicate in a way that is visible to all users. Each individual user is responsible for the content, and Club United neither endorses nor is complicit in what is written by our users or by others.
Each user is also themselves responsible for finding out who else can see the information written, and posts comments at their own risk. It is not permitted to write comments in someone else’s name or use a false name. Club United reserves the right to remove or hide comments without giving a reason where this is within Club United’s user profiles on social media. Comments perceived as advertising (“spam”) will be removed immediately. It is not permitted to post copyrighted material on our pages. Content that infringes third-party rights will be removed as soon as we are notified of it.
